Conference AV Equipment

Hybrid AV provided exceptional support for our event. They organised regular catch-up meetings leading up to the event, ensuring we stayed on top of logistics, conference materials, and the running order. On the event day, Hybrid’s team was remarkable, with a technician always available to address any issues that arose.

I caught up with Jon at the venue and reiterated that I have nothing but positive feedback for you and the team. We did run unexpectedly over on Tuesday evening with some very challenging last-minute changes, however, Simon stayed with us until the end of our day.  Ryan and Myles were fantastic on the day of the event, they had everything under control and made things run incredibly smoothly. Communication before and during the event was a good experience for me. So overall a really positive experience on behalf of Next.

Thanks again for all your support and going the extra mile while onsite to collate all the presentations, tweak and stitch back together. I think it was definitely fair to say we had some quite specific presenter requests that we hadn’t accounted for so many thanks for catching and accommodating those. Personally, I was just really happy with everything you guys did for us and having you there on the Wednesday certainly gave me a lot of reassurance ahead of the event, the event was a resounding success, and I don’t underestimate the time or lengths you and the team went to to accommodate us!

We had the utmost pleasure working with Hybrid AV last weekend at the King Power Stadium, Leicester, it was a massive success and the whole room looked amazing! Jonathan and Tara, once again thank you for your continued support throughout the last unfortunate couple of years, it feels great to be moving towards the other side again! While sadly so many AV companies have left the space since 2020, to be still busy trading and getting busier in 2022 is a testament to them and speaks for itself. Bravo guys, bravo. Long may it continue… I cannot leave without mentioning your superb technicians on the day, Ryan and Reese, professional and courteous, nothing was too much trouble for them and no hesitation to ask if we needed any help, top-notch team!

AV represents a significant annual cost to our conference business. And AV companies continually vie for our account, offering to undercut anyone and everyone to get it; we probably receive unsolicited approaches once or twice a week – around 75 to 100 every year. And yet, despite this, we have worked exclusively with Hybrid AV for over a decade now!  Anyone can offer to supply video walls, lighting rigs, sound systems and all the paraphernalia of a big event. But it is Hybrid’s ability to anticipate and eliminate most problems in advance through careful planning and preparation, and their years of experience that allow them to make correct split-second decisions under extreme pressure should the unexpected happen, that makes all the difference.  Jon and Tara head up their family owned company, They know what it means to put your name to an event, your reputation on the line. They know, because they do just that at every event they work on. So, no event is ever “just another job” to them. Trite perhaps to say it but, “they really care.” And it is that empathy and drive to do the best that can be done, coupled with the expertise and experience of a well-managed team, that ultimately makes us look good to our clients and keeps our events on track… and looking “effortlessly” brilliant.

Hybrid Av have been supplying audio visual equipment to Leicester Tigers for over 25 years. I have personally been involved for the last 17 years on the events side of the business and have always had a good working relationship with their team. In addition to the general conference business that Hybrid Av support, we hold two end of year award dinners, one for our sponsors and one for our supporters, where Hybrid Av manage the AV side of the night. This year we have an additional commercial dinner which again we will bring Hybrid Av on board.
